If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.

Music Mobile has volunteer opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels.  We need volunteers for short term projects (one day or less) and long term projects as well. Please be part of our family of volunteers by contributing your time, talents and enthusiasm for projects like the ones listed below:

  • help at Music Mobile’s park, school, and community programs for children and families
  • assist with clerical tasks (copying, filing, and organizing)
  • prepare supplies for Music Mobile programs
  • research grant opportunities
  • assist with Website development & maintenance
  • pick up program supplies from vendors around the Capital Region
  • assist with special events
  • request donations of supplies from local businesses
  • distribute publicity flyers and posters in neighborhoods and businesses
  • prepare bulk and other mailings
  • provide graphics assistance for program materials, publicity, and community outreach
  • research topics related to Music Mobile programs and songs
  • input data into spread sheets, data bases and other documents on PC and/or Mac
  • arrange and organize art work for a Children’s Art Shows
  • network with community organizations
  • participate in fundraising initiatives such as a bottle drive and community walk
  • transcribe songs composed by children from Music Mobile programs
 


As a volunteer, you will be part of Music Mobile’s Action Corp, a team of individuals and businesses who provide ongoing and as-able volunteer and in-kind support for Music Mobile’s programs, services, and operations.
